PRIVACY POLICY
Effective since 01.12.2008
This privacy policy pertains to the use of FCA Software.net owned by
FCA Software Caministeanu e.K. (“FCA Software”) and covers how FCA Software
treats the personal information that it collects through this Site.
FCA Software is the sole owner of the information collected on the
FCA Software.net Site. FCA Software does not rent, sell or otherwise transfer
to outside parties your personal information. Transferring information does not
include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting
our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this
information confidential.
By visiting FCA Software.net, you are accepting the practices described in this
Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED
FCA Software automatically receives and records information on our server logs
from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, clear gifts, and the page
you request. This is the normal website behavior.
1.1. IP Addresses
FCA Software uses IP Addresses for analyze purposes (trends, demographics, etc.).
IP Addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
1.2. Cookies
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are sent to your browser from a web
site and are stored on your computer's hard drive.
If you prefer, you can configure your browser either to accept all cookies, or
to reject them all. You can also configure your browser to warn you each time
a cookie is being sent. If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to use
FCA Software.net products or services that require you to “Sign in” and you may
not be able to take full advantage of all its services. You may, however, visit
FCA Software.net Site anonymously.
1.3. Clear Gifs
Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to
cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main
difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are
much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear
gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable information.
Clear gifts help us to manage better the content of our site by informing us what
content is effective.
1.4. Registration
Some of FCA Software’s sites, also FCA Software.net, restrict access to online
content. To gain entry, you, as user, must first fill in a registration form.
During registration you are required to give your contact information, such as
name and e-mail address. For sites where online access to content is part of a
subscription package, registration forms will often contain full subscriber
details used to identify and fulfill that subscriber's account.
1.5. E-mail alerts
If you wish to subscribe to our alerts, updates, briefings etc., we ask you for
contact and delivery information such as name and e-mail address. These e-mail
lists provide opt out facilities online. In some cases, you may be asked to
provide optional demographic and personal interest information that is used to
keep for you our content as relevant as possible.
1.6. Sharing your Data
FCA Software will share demographic information with our partners and
advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify
any individual person. FCA Software also shares information when using an
outside shipping company to ship orders or a credit card processing company to
bill users for goods and services.
1.7. Orders
We also request information from you on our order forms. Here you must provide
contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information
(like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing
purposes and to fulfill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this
contact information is used to get in touch with you. All online transactions are
processed using SSL.
1.8. Surveys & Contests
From time to time FCA Software’s sites request information from users via surveys
or contests. Your participation to these surveys or contests is completely
voluntary and therefore you have the choice whether or not to disclose your
personal information. Information requested may include contact information
(such as name and e-mail address), and demographic information (such as zip code
and age level).
Contact information will be used to notify the winners about the award prizes.
Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use
and satisfaction of FCA Software.net Site.
1.9. Third party links
At its discretion, FCA Software may include or offer third party products or
services on our website. These third party sites have separate privacy policies.
We have no responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of these third
party sites. Please take a moment to review the Privacy Policies used by these
sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any
feedback about these sites.
These third-party Web sites and advertisers, or Internet advertising companies
working on their behalf, sometimes use technology to send (or "serve") the
advertisements that appear on our Web site directly to your browser. They
automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use
cookies, JavaScript, and other technologies (such as clear gifts) to measure
the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. We do not
have access to or control over cookies or other features that they may use, and
the information practices of these advertisers and third-party Web sites are not
covered by this Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information
about their privacy practices.

communicating with you, responding to your requests, customizing your shopping
experience with FCA Software.net, and improving our sites.

present the option to not receive these types of communications at the
point of sign up.
3. PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION
FCA Software implements on its sites (including this one) a variety of
security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information
when you register, log-in, and place an order on FCA Software.net.
FCA Software offers the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit
information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then
encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database, only to be accessible by
those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to
keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security
numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers. We reveal only
the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of
course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit
card company during order processing.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password
and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

If you post information, your FCA Software.net ID or alias that you use to log-in
is visible to other users.
If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may

Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties
for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
FCA Software does not share personal information about you with other people or
nonaffiliated companies without your consent.

users, or others; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or
actual illegal activities, including without limitation, fraud, situations
involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of
FCA Software’s

, or

We will transfer information about you if FCA Software is acquired by or merged
with another company. In this event, FCA Software will notify you by email or by
putting a prominent notice on the FCA Software.net web site before information
about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
